WipeMask
Wipe the sh*t out of your content! This is a great plugin to merge two layers without the need of a separate masking layer.
Offset is the time it takes to shift one unit, and creates a nice loop. Attaching the offset parameter to a beat sync adds a great mask for your content, resulting in alpha stripes over your content. Adjust the pre- and end blur to give it some softness. Rotates from the center of the canvas.
