Dark Spore
Dark Spore is a Reaction Diffusion plugin for resolume.
The reaction can be controlled with 6 parameters, and need manually stated (Restart).
There are lots of option in controlling the growth, you can contain in with video/image Alpha 's or slices.
Video can start it and Slice have seed options so you can grow a spore in every slice.
Check the video on Juicebar/ youtube to get feel for the ability and disability of this effect.
With great power comes great responsibility.
Please don't trow this effect on a live composition if your not familiar with its elements(bugs).
Known problems / bugs
- Slice at center composition(0.0) do not seed with center seeds ( potential future update)
- Strange distribution center+sides seeds ( potential future update)
- in some occasions there is noisy displacement at borders of alpha/slices. ( anti-aliasing artifact/ Size problem- no known solution)
- Forcing framerate down (full>1/2) will stop generation, generation needs a restart.( no fix available)
