Chladni Rect 2C
Rectangular cymatic plate implementing the combination of two frequencies, the second frequency can be mixed in the first one to allow graphical composition of the two waves. Many parameters to play with the colors that can be pulsated. Usable as a mask or as a source.
Cymatics, a term introduced by the Swiss physician Jan Jenny in his book *Cymatics: The Study of Wave Phenomena*, was originally coined by the German scientist Ernst Chladni, who demonstrated the existence of geometric patterns caused by acoustic vibrations applied to sand or salt deposited on metal plates. The corresponding equations were derived by the French mathematician Sophie Germain (1776–1831). Thanks to these equations, it is possible to simulate and graphically represent these waves.”
